This free TTRPG Shop & Services Generator creates fully detailed establishments across six settlement sizes. From a sleepy Village to the grandeur of a Capital — and six quality tiers from Derelict to Prestigious. Every combination produces different price ranges, stock selection and atmosphere.
Each generated shop includes a procedurally drawn sign, the proprietor's name, race and appearance, any assistants or apprentices on the premises, exterior and interior descriptions, a list of wares with prices adjusted for location and quality, available services, and a rumour about the shop or its owners. Some shops carry blessings, curses, or unusual special features for the DM to weave into their session.
Over 25 shop types are supported: blacksmiths, armories, alchemists, potion shops, arcane emporiums, herbalists, bookstores, temples, taverns, inns, general stores, adventuring suppliers, clothiers, jewelers, stables, bathhouses, banks, thieves' guilds, adventurers' guilds, curiosity shops, and more. Filter by settlement size or shop type for targeted results, or leave both on Any for a random encounter with commerce.
