The TTRPG Book Generator is a free tool for Dungeon Masters and Game Masters who want to fill their world's libraries, wizard towers and dungeon shelves with believable, detailed volumes. Each generated book includes a procedurally rendered cover, author, condition, edition, age, and a gold piece value — accounting for rarity, magical properties and provenance.
Books come in six magical types: Mundane, Enchanted, Cursed, Blessed, Artifact and Spellbook. Spellbooks list their contents by spell level and school — perfect for rewarding a wizard player without handing them a specific spell list. Cursed tomes appear mundane but are worth far less than they seem — or perhaps more, to the right buyer.
Works great with D&D 5e, Pathfinder, OSR games, and any fantasy TTRPG. Generate up to 20 books at once, filter by category (history, arcane, medicine, romance, horror and more), copy the full list as a Markdown table for your notes, or print directly to PDF.
